June 14: Annual meeting and potluck

Come to our annual meeting and potluck, and learn about wetland plants found on Little Hunting Creek

WHEN: 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday June 14th
WHERE: On the beautiful shore of the Little Hunting Creek Preserve-South (8726 Stockton Parkway)
TO BRING: Binoculars if you have them (you may see an eagle or osprey), a dish to share, and a chair or blanket.

(We’ll supply beverages, cups, paper napkins, plates, and utensils. We’ll have some chairs.)

To vote, you must be a dues-paying member. Click button below to pay your annual $5 dues. If you prefer to pay dues at the meeting, please download a membership application form here, fill it out, bring cash or check, and plan to arrive 10 min early to check in.

If you join but are unable to attend the 3 p.m. meeting on June 14, you may designate another FOLHC member by PROXY to cast your vote for the Board of Directors at this meeting. It is important for you to send us your Proxy if you cannot attend, so we can establish a quorum for this vote.

We currently have vacancies for members at large and Vice President. The Board meets online every quarter for about an hour. There are occasional opportunities to volunteer at events. Board members must be paid-up members of the Friends of Little Hunting Creek.
